Brazil: Folha de Sao Paulo leads newspaper market

Folha newspaper publisher leads with a 7,2% share the Brazilian daily newspapers market estimated at 4.39mil copies over Jan - June. Folha de Sao Paulo has a daily circulation of 317.300 copies, followed by Extra (Globo group) with 301.300, GO Globo with 291.800 copies, O Estado de Sao Paulo with 257.800 copies.

The data is provided by the circulation institute IVC, which points to a 5,3% growth of copies on June 2008 to 4.3mil compared with June 2007.
